Bill Barnes is an accomplished video professional
with a diversity of experience. His award-winning style
in commercial and public television, as well as that as
an independent has established him as a standout in the
industry. Bill Barnes Video Productions, LLC, his own
successful company, was established in 1988 with Barnes
producing, directing and acting as videographer/DP on
a variety of broadcast, non-broadcast & web-based projects.

- 1987 – 1988: Shot/edited for NBC News Atlanta Bureau. In addition, a founding partner of The Network Group, Inc., an Atlanta-based video production and satellite transmission services company.
- 1986 – 1987: Producer/director/videographer for Charlotte, NC-based corporate video production company, MidSouth Teleproductions, Inc.
- 1975 – 1986: Producer/director for Charlotte, NC PBS
affiliate WTVI. Highlights included weekly syndicated
music show After Dark and three documentaries
that aired nationally on PBS, An Evening with Mark
Twain, Briarhopper Time and Music from the Heart: A
Carolinas Perspective on the Origins of Country Music.
